EBPP Takes Safe Steps Moving Forward in COVID-19 pandemic

On Monday 16th March, the Bali government instructed that all Bali schools must close until further updates and students must do classes online. East Bali Poverty Project, one of Inspirasia’s grantees, immediately reacted with measures to best serve all students in their six schools. All staff now work at Tianyar Base Camp under covered bales, preparing lesson modules for each subject, which will then be photocopied and distributed to all students to work from home. With no internet in the village, the District Education Department has given approval for the upcoming national exams to be held at home. Tests will be delivered to students every morning and collected the following day by EBPP’s teachers for marking. No outside visitors will be allowed to visit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
