Learning through experience

YPK Bali believes that with experiential learning, students are given the opportunity to apply data and ideas in a real-world situation where they too play an active role. This is the best way to teach the students and encourage them to seek their own unique solutions to hands-on tasks. Experiential learning is designed to engage students' emotions as well as enhance their knowledge and skills. Playing an active role in the learning process can lead to students experiencing greater gratification in learning.

This is what YPK implements with their students - Learning through Experience. As part of this approach, YPK Bali took 30 students to visit the Bajarasandhi Monument to introduce them to the history of Bali, including how Balinese people achieved independence. The students learnt a lot and also enjoyed the facility there, viewing more than twenty pictures that describe how Indonesian heroes struggled and worked hard to achieve independence. This activity also gives the students a greater appreciation and love for Bali and Indonesia.
