Puspadi Bali Partners with Government of Badung Regency to visit PWDs

Between March and  June 2023, Puspadi Bali carried out home visits for persons with disabilities in the Mengwi and Abiansemal Districts through the mobile social services unit activities at Badung Regency.

The Mobile Social Service Unit (USPK) is a social service facility created to reach Persons with Disabilities or other Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) at  village level in order to obtain social services and rehabilitation in accordance with the problems they face and to find the best solutions through services, consultations and health checks.

UPSK activities are interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral, so the implementation requires the involvement of various relevant agencies, especially the regional government. The essence of UPSK is to bring together persons with disabilities with the social welfare service resource system. The implementation of the activity was carried out by a UPSK Team, which involved elements of the relevant government and the community consisting of experts and practitioners in their fields, such as doctors, specialist doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and district social welfare workers.
