On the 27th November 2023, Inspirasia Foundation held its first Annual Fundraising Dinner at ION Harbour in Malta. The event was sponsored by Iniala and ION Harbour, while the wine was sponsored by Farson’s and Philippe Martinet Fine Wines.

Through this event, Eur18,700 was raised which was donated to YPK Bali, one of our grantees at the Annika Linden Centre. These funds will help YPK Bali continue its integrated program for modified therapy and educational programes for 23 children with disabilities with the aim of prividing them with a better quality of life and a better future.

YPK Bali is a not-for-profit organisation which was founded in 2001 to provide rehabilitationb for people with a disability and who were unable to access formal health care facilities. In 2009, YPK Bali expanded its services, establishing an informal education program for children with disabilities and also a community based mobile rehabilitation service.

YPK Bali has helped more than 80,000 people across Bali and is continugin to expand its services to have a significant social impact on improving the livelihoods with a highly integrated, unique and innovatiuve program. With the support from Inspirasia Foundation who organised the Fundraising Dinner in Malta, YPK Bali can continue to help 23 children with disabilities who are from underprovilged families. These children are now able to receive the therapy and education, including art classes (a form of occupational therapy), business classes (increase independence) daily living classes (to learn general living skills such as food preparation, dressing up, cleaning and other skills that provide a posiitve and proactive approach to living), health classes (to learn about the importance of health), science classes (to understand about the world around them), rehabilitation (to increase movement, function and strength).

Inspirasia Foundation is proud to be supporting YPK Bali and the fantastic work they do to help chnage the lives of children with disabilities and their family.
