"I didn't expect it. I came to the market just to buy my daily groceries. It turns out, I got a very valuable additional bonus. Through the clinic of Yayasan Rama Sesana Foundation at the Badung market, I finally got help and information about a health problem that had been making me anxious and confused,” explains Ardila Palupa, one of YRS Bali’s clients.

Grocery shopping is a routine activity that can be fun and tiring at the same time. Ardila Palupa does her grocery shopping regularly. As an owner of a small stall (warung) that sells fresh juices and snacks in Denpasar, she often goes to Badung market to buy groceries for her stall. One day, she explained to another seller in Badung market that she always feels pain when lifting heavy groceries. The seller, who is a regular client of YRS clinic at Badung market, suggested she visits the YRS clinic, located at the first floor of Badung market. At first, Ardila wasn’t sure but then she tried it anyway. After her first consultation, she received a lot more than she expected. She was given solutions to a health problem that she’d been hiding for quite some time, as she didn’t know where to go for a consultation on such a delicate health problem. Ardila was very thankful that a women’s health clinic such as YRS exists to help many women like her who don’t know where to go to consult about their health problems.

Inspirasia Foundation is proud to be supporting YRS Bali. Follow YRS on Facebook to find out more about their organisation.
